Soil Regeneration Project

Objective: Heal the topsoil of our Guatemalan coffee-producing partners, addressing the long-term effects of monocropping and deforestation. We are working with our trusted partners in Antigua to transition their estate into a regenerative farming model. Future phases of this project will expand to help smallholder farms adopt regenerative practices as well.

• Monocropping, the practice of planting a single crop repeatedly, depletes soil fertility and nutrients over time. By introducing diverse agricultural species, we can naturally restore soil health and improve fertility. 

• Implementing regenerative practices will also help farmers reduce their reliance on harmful chemicals, lowering costs and promoting healthier crops.
